About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To give life in a foreign country a second chance.....this time without having to go to class and study for exams!
ABOUT ME
Aren't we all here because we want to travel, meet new interesting people, and experience life form a different perspective? Since that applies to basically everyone, I guess I should be more specific. I'm friendly, outgoing, and open-minded. Confident, never cocky or arrogant. Witty and slightly sarcastic, but never intentionally mean. I like to laugh until I can't breathe. I love sweet tea...too much. My favorite meal of the day is dessert (conveniently I used to live near a 24-hour french bakery). I graduated from UNCC in 2011, and received my BSBA in International Business. My current goal is study/learn German since I've been living in Munich for two years now. Sounds like a plan, right? I love going to visit my family in the countryside, because nature is awesome. There is nothing better than being able to go outside at night, lay on your back, and see all of the stars. However, right now I am content here in Germany, and would love to meet more people :)
PHILOSOPHY
Three years ago I decided I didn't like the city I was living in. So I rented a U-Haul truck and packed all of my stuff in it and moved (less than 4 days after I made this decision). The day I moved I was sitting in my car and found an old fortune cookie under my passenger seat. It was from a sushi place I loved to go to, so I decided to open it. It said "Life is a series of choices. Today yours are good ones". It gave me the most reassuring feeling ever. From that moment I decided that I will take EVERY opportunity I have to make more crazy life choices. Whether they are good or bad at least I know I took the risk with a leap of faith.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet! Hopefully, you can help change that! :)
Interests
I prefer to be outdoors, but most of the time that isn't an option. I'm completely content staying inside and watching a movie too. I'm open to pretty much everything, and willing to try most things twice (I think you can't judge things by the first impression).

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Wedding Crashers (best.movie.ever.), American Psycho,Zoolander, and Forrest Gump all come to mind. Normally, I watch comedies because...well, who doesn't like to laugh?
Music: This is totally subject to my mood, and right now I am in a Deftones mood. I suppose it depends on how my day is going :)
Books: I don't read nearly enough books as I should. I'll have to read a few more before I can give a good answer hahaha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in Fes, Morocco....I couldn't help but feel like I was stuck one or two hundred years in the past. The Moroccans in that area really stick to traditional ways of doing things. It was bizarre and exciting all at the same time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn about your culture! Why else would I be on here?! Also, I would love to show people that NOT ALL Americans are ignorant to the world....at least I don't think I am.
