ABOUT ME

Well, right now im taking a few years off from college to travel the world and gain some more life experiences. Im very passionate about the difficulties our world faces in these times of unrivaled corporate greed and increasing environmental degredation. I try too eat as ethically as i can and hate nasty processed food.

PHILOSOPHY

i live my life with an open mind to most all peoples personal beliefs and views. i am always interested in trying something new. i love experiancing new cultures and all they have to teach.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I havnt been able to host anyone yet. I have been hosted a number of times and try and tell everyone i meet about how good of a project this is.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've only surfed so far but have really enjoyed the places and people it has brought me into contact with. it is great to have a locals knowledge in a new area and to get off the well trodden tourist track.
one great one was staying on a host's yacht for a night during a terrible ocean squall with a couple other CSers

i enjoy almost anything outdoors and physically challenging.i especially love the ocean and cannot go long without it.scuba diving,reading,travel, environmental conservation,rock climbing, nutrition,snowboarding,cooking,dirt biking

books: Tolkien is one of my favorites. but also enjoy: Chomsky,Kerouac,Hunter S Thompson,Krakauer, political and adventure travel books, hippy books ... right now im reading a biography on Che Guevara and The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test
music: everythng under the sun and then some !! seriously.NPR,KPFA, Immortal Technique.
