My current mission is to grow as an human being. This includes knowing other people, other places and other cultures always in a respectful way. I do believe that sharing meaningful experiences can change a person to the best. My mission is to learn through the people I meet and the places I'm in.

ABOUT ME

I'm a nice, sympathetic and respectful guy who likes to cook, to eat, to meet interesting people and visit places. I am now living in Italy, but I lived for almost half of my life in Portugal and the other half in Brazil. I worked as a social communicator in a NGO that helped children to increase their studies and skills through sports and arts education. For 3 years I also volunteered as an English teacher in Rio de Janeiro. 3 years ago I decided to change my career and I started studying culinary Arts in Portugal and then I became a cook. I know it may seem crazy, changing like this, but this is me. And I am really happy with all the decisions I took in my life. I have a crush on the humanity and try to be socially responsible in everything I do as I want to live in a better world.

PHILOSOPHY

"A cynic is a man who knows the price of everything but the value of nothing." I am not this kind of person. I use to pay attention to everything that is happening around me and I don't need much to feel happy. I try enjoy every little moment of my routine and try to discover new places, people and feelings whenever it's possible. This way I can always learn and grow.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I am a 30 years old guy, with bachelor in Social Communication and Film and also Culinary Arts. Some years ago I decided to participate because I like being in contact with people, like to learn from them, to show around my city, to share good moments while we eat or hung out. I also like the idea of meeting local people and get their tips of what to do in the city, to share their companies while discovering somewhere knew. It's an enriching experience to be part of it.

I like to cook. Like to be around the table with nice people eating and talking about culture, arts, music, geography or even random subjects. I like the way that food unites people. There is something special around the act of eating together so that's why my biggest passion is to cook. But I also enjoy watching movies, going outdoor, walking everywhere... and I really like to be in contact with the nature too. I live in Italy, next to Florence. Work as a cook in a restaurant in the hills and I love what I do.
