About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My travel life revolves around food... I want to try everything, learn about your cuisine, eat with you, cook with you... food, food, food! 🙂
I have lived in several US cities and hosted travelers in San Diego & Las Vegas... I am finally getting the chance to travel extensively.
I have been traveling for quite a while now and love meeting new people and exploring new cities.
To Hosts:
Most of my requests are pretty last minute as my journey continues to change, thank you for your consideration.
* I am very curious about your life and where you live
* I would love to cook with you
* I for sure clean up after myself
* I like local beer, food & wine
* I require little space
* I do not need your 100% attention but would like to get to know you
* I will not stay out late without you
* If you drink, I drink & if you don't, I don't
* I eat anything
* If you're vegetarian/vegan (I respect that) and I'll be vegetarian/vegan as well
* I want to hear the music you like
* I Like board/card games
* I am traveling for the next couple of years so your input is very important to me.
* I adore crazy people & clowns
PHILOSOPHY
I wanted the gold and I sought it, I scrabbled and mucked like a slave. Was it famine or scurvy -- I fought it; I hurled my youth into a grave. I wanted the gold, and I got it -- Came out with a fortune last fall, -- Yet somehow life's not what I thought it, and somehow the gold isn't all. ...Robert Service
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Proud to be able to fill this section out.
Since 2008...
I host, I surf, I guide, I introduce, I promote, I support!!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I feel like I have been involved in this forever now and it goes in cycles but never gets old… I have been a city ambassador for Vegas & San Diego, have hosted countless people, organized/hosted events in my home and around town, camped with the CS’ers @ Burning Man & love every experience I’ve had. I feel lucky to be so involved with CS.
Interests
Knowledge interests me, being at the right place at the right time, reading, book stores, finding good restaurants, good beer & whiskey, music, bike riding, sharing, games, exploring, intelligent conversations and fun...
Music, Movies, and Books
Books, Books, Books... Mostly all non-fiction and travel journals. My Favorite is "Vagabonding" by Rolf Potts (which is my plan, if you know others like this, please share) Some others are Marco polo didn't go there", "A walk in the woods", "Emergency sex and other desperate measures", "Into thin air" & "Into the wild". Cook Books & I love maps & Atlas'!!!
Movies: Typicaly like true stories, love comedies but am finding them harder and harder not to be too ridiculous.
Music... Michael Franti is what is usually on in my car... I like it all and want to be introduced to as much as possible.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There is no way to narrow it down to one thing, I'm on my 2nd round the world trip and we could talk for hours.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn:
* To dance (If it's not too late)
* To sing (It's for sure too late)
* Yoga
* Vegetarian cooking

I can share:
