I enjoy seeing life through the perspective of the people I meet. Studying new cultures and customs then adopting them into my life. I find treasure every day in the friends I make and the ideas we share. I enjoy heading out by myself into the unknown and like any good adventure I always seem to get into a few unexpected situations along the way. I'm very communicative and respectful. I try to get along with everyone, but I especially admire others that hold those traits. I might not be able to spend a lot of time hanging out, but I do my best to match my host's level of enthusiasm.

Couchsurfing forces us to have real firsthand encounters with the world and see it the way it really is – not the way we imagine it. I also enjoy getting to know people and what better way to do that than being hosted by people living in the place I'm exploring?

I host when I can and I’m always happy to show people around. I love the human experience.

Darien Gap, Northern Colombia, an unmarked trail miles from nowhere: A shirtless local jumps out of the jungle, sprinting at me with a machete.... stops three feet from my face, panting, rusty machete in one hand and a freshly cut coconut extended in the other, a toothless cheshire-cat grin from ear to ear.
