About Me
It has been awhile I last reviewed my biography and some had already outdated. So here am I, graduated and back from round the world trip from Sept 2016 to March this year. I am retyping my biography as a host and not a surfer now. Actually, i have never couchsurf. I was introduced this apps by my friend who used this app to couchsurf in Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand. In the beginning, i was so excited, i sent requests to couchsurf in NewYork and Philadelphia but got no respond. To my disappointment, i stayed in dorm rooms and airbnb. Since then, i quitted using couchsurfing. haha.
After that, in November, i went to New Zealand, i had a unique experience of staying at local's house with the requirement of doing some labour works such as trimming grass, garden works, vineyard and etc. However, i didn't use couchsurfing to look up for hosts, instead i used Helpx. Well, i really thanked the 3 hosts who allowed me to stay at their places for 1 week each, their generosity had helped me with my budget. I enjoyed meeting new people, albeit the only Asian in caucasian community. My host asked me to follow her to their neighbourhood christmas party. In the beginning, i was edgy because there were so many eyes on me because they never knew a Chinese being their neighbour. Haha. But this is cultural exchange. I have never played rugby and cricket. One of the host's son thought me some technique to kick and toss rugby and technical terms for cricket. I really enjoyed and appreciated that.
Independence . Grateful . Affable . Sincere

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Overnight in the middle of desert with my friends during our visit to Jaisalmer, India.
Travelling in India for 1 month plus during the peak of winter with a grumpy tummy :(
Overnight in a tent with my friends for weeks in the wilderness in South NZ, night was down to 3-7degree Celcius(it was cold for me, as i am staying along the equator most of my life). There was one night, the gust was so strong that it blew apart our tents.
