Having grown up and educated in Bangladesh, Kuwait and UK, I have always been a bit of a bohemian. But full of curiosity and ideals, I have been keen on knowing, wanting to express my views of the world and shed light onto issues I faced to bring positive change in the society.

Photography was the first tool that enabled me to do so and the 4 exhibitions in Dhaka and London encouraged me to pursue a career in media. Back in 2002, for a middle class Bangladeshi youth, that is a difficult decision and path to tread on due to lack of institutes, trainer and understanding in the subject. But determined and inquisitive as I am, since then, I have continued adding new experiences and skills which were often self-taught. I have worked as journalist in top publication in UK and Bangladesh, as communication consultant in NGO, PR in corporate and designer in digital marketing.

Perhaps, the 22 countries I have visited have made me keen on learning, more adoptive of situations, accepting of others, open to different opinions and rich in cultural capital. Whatever it is, in life, I just want to experience something new, something different, as much as I can. We are only travelers in this world and when there is so much left to explore, why settle?
