ABOUT ME

My name's Rubén Llorach and was born in a every-day-more-popular city called Barcelona. I love about it that there are always new spots to discover and rediscover, but what excites me the most is to get lost and away in foreign contries. With that goes, of course, meeting lots of new people!

I would define myself as an extremely active person, a little to much at some times, but I'd rather see it as a good thing! Some people say I'm quite funny, but I wouldn't know, they may be either drunk or buttering me up!
I love trying new experiences, since I still haven't found what is the right right right thing for me. Until I do, I will keep getting involved in everything I'm interested in. So far, it's creative production at a very nice startup called Typeform.

Food is important, and nowadays I'm all about Japanese food. Like everybody, I guess. Have you heard about ramen?

I love parties.

PHILOSOPHY

I wouldn't say I have a personal philosophy but, if it helps, some days ago I heard a saying that made me think. So here it goes. Wait for it. It's coming.

"If there's something you don't like, change it! You'r neither a tree nor idiot".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm planning a trip around the Netherlands, and that will hopefully be the first of many experiences!

I'm considering to stard hosting surfers in the near future. I've started receiving advice, and will offer my couch as soon as I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still haven't had the change to participate until now! I'm very excited, and confident that it will be a great experience for sure!

Interests

I think the best way will be to make a list. I'm interested in:

-Travelling (OF COURSE)
-Films and film history (I'm studying it, actually!)
-Shooting videos, editing them, photography... and so on
-Partying
-Japanese food
-Playing the piano
-Board games!
-Learning to play the guitar
-Being a monitor (leisure monitor, with children, I'm not sure if it is said this way in English)
-Juggling!

-Learning to cook new recipies (and then trying to cook them)
-Many many more, I'll write them as I recall!

Buff! Wouldn't know where to start! Lets discuss it if we met in real life! Nevertheless, this months there's a film that received more love than the others... Magnolia, from P. T. Anderson. I like it because it reflects quite successfully the way I see the world. Have you watched? What do you think?

Ok, here's one: I went to Burning Man to shoot a feature fiction film. It was a crazy idea. But we made it.
