About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission in life is to live in, and see as much of the world as possible. How well I am doing in my mission is debateable but I'm giving it a shot. I would ultimately like to live abroad for an extended amount of time.

ABOUT ME

My name is Ruben Rosales. I have an action figure collection. I think that is probably the most interesting thing about me. It's a great talking point. Whether you think it's weird or super cool it usually gets people talking. Aside from my wonderful girlfriend, I think my favorite thing in life is travel. I have been to several countries in Latin America as well as China, Spain, France, Germany, and England. Within the States I have traveled pretty extensively throughout the South and Southwest. I think what I like most about traveling is the people you meet along the way. My parents used to take me all over the place as a kid, and I am forever grateful for that, but traveling as an adult, i feel, allows you to meet way more people. I think couchsurfing is a wonderful way to travel as it allows you to really get to know someone who lives in the place you are traveling to. It's a great change of pace from the cookie cutter hotels that I was used to staying in as a kid.

PHILOSOPHY

Be nice and never steal someone's cake or baked good unless your life depends on it or if it looks really delicious.
