ABOUT ME

think i'm an easy going person, always up for a drink, a ktv, a movie, a game, a little bar where u can still have a nice talk. I can't imagine my life without travelling (and music/painting). I love to go camping from time to time although haven't found the time recently.

PHILOSOPHY

Once the travel bug bites, there is no known antidote and I know that I shall be happily infected until the end of my life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed couches in different countries/ continents and haven't had a single bad experience! Always find something to share, talk about, etc... Hosted people from different countries and likewise: only good stuff.

Movies: Epic movies like gladiator, Lord of the Rings, feel good movies like La vita e bella, little miss sunshine, movies with a lot of music (Moulin Rouge, Sound of Music (uhu, i know...)), Stanley Kubrick (although quite long movies sometimes), Silence of the lambs and other thrillers, most of the Disney movies (guilty pleasure), Christopher Nolan (Inception) and Guillermo del Toro movies (Pan's labyrinth), Jennifer Lawrence movies etc
Music: actually anything as long as it's not for too long but if I could choose: soundtracks (John Williams, Hans Zimmer, James Horner,...)

Horseback riding in Songpan, China (Sichuan province), watching the Rockies in Canada while listening to an Indian fluteplayer, Bicycle ride on Dingle Peninsula (Ireland), Chongqing reunion for a wedding in Japan, the view over the Osaka skyline by night (made me very quiet), jumping of waterfalls in Laos, diving in the Caribbean in Colombia, paragliding in Colombia as well, hiking Into the Wild in Adygea, Russia, eating freshmade falafel with a group of Palestinians in East Jerusalem, swimming in Cliff Beach swimming pool on Koh Hai (Thailand) overlooking the Andaman Sea
