Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's a great way to travel and meet new people. Everyone has his own experiences, we might as well learn from each other.

Interests

MUSIC
-listening to almost any genre of music
-used to play the drums, but haven't played in a long time
-playing acoustic guitar and singing (not great though)
HUMAN be(com)ings
-We're all the same because we share being human, but yet there's so much diversity. Everyone has their own stories and past experiences that shape how they orient in the present and see the future. We can learn so much from talking too each other, because probably no one has it all figured out.
-From a more academic point of view I'm very interested in all the sciences that study the human condition in different ways (philosophy, sociology, psychology, history, literature, art, anthropology,...)

MOVIES
(what springs to mind right now): The butterfly effect, the shawshank redemption, amélie poulain, Loft, Rocky, l'auberge espagnol,...
MUSIC
Almost anything, i especially like Leonard Cohen, Bruce springsteen. I started out listening to punk rock music when I was 12, evolved into heavy metal, then played in a metalcore band, and later I started appreciating electronic music, hip hop, and especially singer-songwriters

The comming of Joachim Stiller (Hubert Lampo), The picture of Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde), The old man and the sea (Ernest Hemmingway), the alchemist (paulo coelho), ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-did a small weekend tour through the UK with the band I played in
-Studied abroad in Paris
-trying to ride a horse and almost falling off
-Studying abroad in the US
