Finally I decided to focus my efforts on travelling and develop my YouTube channel. Younger Ruben dreamt with documenting properly my travels and now I'm loving the hole creating process. It feels right even if I suck at it! 🥴

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted over 50 times with a group account we used to have in our apartment in London many years ago! Now I attend some events and travel, so I'm always able to have a drink and have some fun! I can offer a handful of ideas of how to make our day more entertaining!

All experiences I've had while hosting, being hosted or attending events were great, so I'm still very up to continue! I'm usually an active person in hangouts and events

Interests

I love sports, though my big relationship with beer contradicts that affection ;) Skydiver and DiveMaster! 🪂🤿
I am/was? addicted to tv series and cinema. I leave there the mystery!
If something defines me, it is music. I have been playing guitar and piano for some years and I just love all of it.
I feel empty and anxious when I don't have a way to stimulate my creativity.
If the good is book, hide it or you lost it!
And travelling. I'm one of those ones that found themselves while backpacking and now I'm even more in love with the idea of travelling than travelling itself. It's hard to picture a future without these months of escapes and personal development while sharing it with the lovely people who adventure themselves into it.

I grew up with rock'n'roll, which turned into a very wide taste of music! Lately I'm listening to Thrice, Allen Stone, Matt Corby, Mötley Crue, G'n'R, Airbourne, Protest the Hero, Ben Howard, Tommy Emmanuel, Half Moon Run, Beyonce, Machine Head, Frank Sinatra, John Meyer... so a little of everything
Everything Christopher Nolan or Tarantino do is on my watch list. I love tv series like Dark, Game of Thrones, Community, Breaking Bad...;Animation movies, Studio Ghibli and Disney; and I enjoy always a good anime.
And yes, I'm one of those kids who grew up obsessed with Harry Potter :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhike almost 6000km through the Patagonia; went from Portugal to Brazil by sea; hiked some big ass volcanos; backpacked through tens of countries... but the most amazing accomplishment of my life is definitely to get spitted blood by Nikki Sixx in the farewell tour of Mötley Crüe with Def Leppard and Steel Panther while glam dressed. Felt like I was living on another decade!
