About Me
Hello, nice to meet you!
I've been on this side of the world for two years and counting, and I’m definitely Europe’s #1 fan! I came with the dream of learning English, but my list of languages quickly grew to more than 4—next up is German! I’ve experienced a bit of everything along the way, and even though I’ve travelled on a tight budget, it’s given me amazing and unexpected experiences, moments, and people.
Likewise, I’ll be living in Germany for a year, learning about its culture and language. So far, I’ve lived in extremes—first, I was on the sunny beaches of Malta in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, and then I found myself in the snowy forests of the Pyrenees mountains in Andorra. Now, here I am in Germany, a country at the heart of Europe that has a bit of both worlds.
I’d say I’m a bit of a risk-taker, always going after what I want or who I care about. I’m pretty shy at first, but once I open up, I can’t stop talking—though I love listening too. When I travel, my favorite thing to do is walk around, explore every corner, learn the history, and take in the unique landscapes. But partying all night and losing myself isn’t my style. Don’t get me wrong—I love dancing! I’m from the salsa capital (Cali), so it’s in my blood, but that doesn’t mean I’m all about the nightlife.
I’m passionate about the digital world, which is why I studied graphic design, and now I’m constantly learning about digital marketing, entrepreneurship, and more. Likewise, I’m organized and always try to help out, whether it’s with friends or new people I meet.
Finally, I’m someone who pours their heart into everything. When I want something, I’ll do my best. You could say I’m intense, but I’d argue it’s just part of being Latin American! If you don’t believe me, just ask Betty from the Colombian famous telenovela “Betty la Fea” or singers icons like Shakira or Karol G. I think you get the point! ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love almost all Latin music—salsa, merengue, champeta, cumbia, reggaeton, despecho, salsa choque, and the list goes on! I’m also into pop, dancehall, piano, jazz, and electronic music (especially house).
Movies: Eat, Pray, Love (my favorite travel movie), The Proposal, Encanto (because it's based on my country), Your Name (an amazing anime), White Chicks, and pretty much anything from Studio Ghibli.
Books: The Diary of Anne Frank, The 5 AM Club, Red, White & Royal Blue, Heartstopper, Atomic Habits, How to Make Good Things Happen, Find Your Vitamin Person, and Love and Don’t Suffer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I studied German for two hours a day while working 10-hour shifts at McDonald's and creating social media content, all to pass my German exam with just two months of preparation. And I passed!
I took the risk to step out of my comfort zone, leaving my country without knowing anyone abroad and without speaking another language.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an open book—I love sharing everything I know, especially when it comes to teaching dance styles like salsa, bachata, and more. I also enjoy sharing fun facts and tips about the places I’ve been. I'm eager to learn about everything, especially languages, and I'd be happy to teach you Spanish as well!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a lot of knowledge about Latin America, especially my home country. I can also help with digital topics like graphic design or digital marketing. If you're interested, I can share guides on the places I've lived. And, of course, I’m always up for crazy conversations—or even deep ones!
