About Me

ABOUT ME

Not that much to tell about me. 26 years old, love travelling and meeting new people. I studied in England for one year, lived and worked in Switzerland afterwards for another one. Frequently trying to broaden my horizon and starting to get invovled with couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

Everybody has to believe in something. I believe I'll have another beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Created this profile some time ago out of curiosity. Now I finally have a couch to offer and am planning my first trips via Couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far.

Interests

Quite a lot. First of all Music. I play Saxophone and Bass, the latter in a Metalcore band. I further like reading (mostly nonfiction and crime fiction), Squash (still on an Amateur-Level), Roadbiking and Travelling. Also I have a passion for vintage cars. I own some, maintain them myself, am frequenting exhibitions, trade fairs and regularly participate in tourist drives.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC

Rock, Metal, Hardcore, Classic Music, Jazz, House... Basically anything from Metallica to Miles Davis and from Beethoven to Justice. My absolute favourite is Dvoraks symphony No. 9 "From the new world", listen to it at least once a week since i was four years old and heard it in concert for the first time.

BOOKS

Mostly crime fiction. That passion seems to run in my family, my father was a police officer and is now an author. Other than that I like biographies as there is lots to learn in there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Forgot a bunch of books from my university's library in the trunk of my car. Put that car into a garage for the winter. Changed my e-mail address some days later. Rolled out the car in late spring. Found the books. Am now proud record holder of the highest ever penalty-fee achieved at the Cologne university library.

Teach, Learn, Share

Never, NEVER EVER forget a bunch of books from your university's library in your car ;-)
