Hi there!

My name is Ruben P. Velasquez and I'm currently travelling the states. I'm a Mexican-American (dual citizen). I grew up between the USA and Mexico. I've lived in a couple of different places and done a little bit of travelling throughout the years. I was very lucky to have the opportunity of travelling from a young age. I am perfectly bilingual in English and Spanish. I speak Portuguese well and understand a bit of German. I am open minded and kind hearted. I love traveling and meeting new people. I love reading. I like to tell stories. I am good with office work and organization. I actually have a bachelor in business administration. I'm good at solving problems and I'm a handy person. I want to get to know as many people and places as I can. I don't believe we should all live to just work. I like to exercise and eat right. Playing soccer is a lot of fun, watching it not so much. Nature is amazing. Science is very important to understand nature and many other things. A qualitative input of things is way more fun than a quantifiable one. Balance is key. Don't follow anyone or anything, follow your dreams - Albert Einstein or Mark Twain (I think).

□Music: The Arctic Monkeys, Bossa Nova, Café Tacuba, The Black Keys, Daft Punk, Swedish House Mafia, Axtone, Marcelo D2, Charlie Brown, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Son de Madera, Madredeus, Jorge Negrete, Tame Impala, Calvin Harris, Avici, Cage the Elephant and many more. I like all genres of music really. There are just some songs I can't stand.

□Books: I do enjoy reading but I'm not a very constant reader.
I tend to read more latin american authors than anything else.
I like to read: García Márquez, Borges, Coelho, Neruda, Murakami, Stieg Larson and some others.
Again, I don't read as much as I should.

I speak and write English and Spanish at 100 % so I can always help you with practicing or learning those languages.
I'm really organized and responsible so if you need some help with a project at your home you can always count on me.
I've got sone really good mexican food recipes that my grandmother thought me when I was a kid so I could always teach you one of those so you can surprise your friends with an exotic meal one day.
