My name is Ruby, i'm 25 years old, Half Swiss, half American, and i aspire to be Canadian. am living in London, finishing up my Masters. i love singing, yoga, rowing, running, laughing, travel,my family, drawing, lying in the grass and dozing off to music, meeting people, eating, listening to music...

PHILOSOPHY

om mani padme hum, which means, there is beauty in everyone and everything. i try to see and project beauty and kindness into the world. ...because really, we are all one on some level.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i love the concept behind couchsurfing.this project is a really good thing because it encourages people to break down barriers and trust one another. i like anything that encourages me to keep an open mind and treat people with kindness and generosity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i hosted travelers in Halifax (where i did my undergrad), thanks to my flatmate KT, who has been a member of couchsurfing for some time now. i've also been backpacking all over the world and have met some incredibly beautiful people. i love the opportunity traveling provides to form instant and sometimes profound and long-lasting friendships. i'd like to do the same when i'm standing in one place.
