ABOUT ME
I lived as a nomad / seasonally for over 10 years travelling from French ski seasons, to Ibiza, to California and traveled much of Europe, Central and South America, a little Africa and a lot of India and Nepal.
I love trying new experiences, playing sport, creating art, traditional crafts.
I am independent and adventures, being called "Curious and Courageous" was the best compliment I've ever had :)

I'm happy to help, I love to cook and share stories and skills. I will happily make delicious food in exchange for a couch, a tour or local advise :) I forage wild food for fancy restaurants in London incl wild mushrooms.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am not here for romance! It's annoying it needs to be said but Couchsurfing users have changed a lot over the years. It's cool to hang out but just be honest and be cool.
I've worked in 5* hospitality so your home is in safe hands. I'm a non smoker but ok if you are. I'm independent and proactive.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have a couch. I tried to teach it to surf but it sunk! *boomboom!*I haven't grown up!
I seek: cultural crazy chilled curious experiences.
Traveled India solo working on eco projects like Earthships. South America for wildlife. North America for gardening and performing. Europe for snowboarding.
Been mostly off road but sometimes on the Banana Pancake trail.
I have a positive pay-it-forward skillshare approach with people staying with me too. I've been traveling about 12 years, CSing is 2nd nature now but always received gratefully. Often I do HelpX. There's an exodus of good folk to Trust Roots, BeWelcome.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy the cinema and comics, Wes Anderson, Alexandro Jordowski, Ray Harryhausen, Bill Murray, early Tarantino, big documentaries, Nature, global affairs, Sci-fi...
Music wise I truly like most genres and I can be found at live gigs and clubs listening to rockabilly, swing, funk and soul, opera, disco, jazz, electro... whatever as long as it moves me!
And I love reading and learning, trying to grasp French language ma petite choufleur!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I snowboarded the 27km Vallee Blanche at midnight by full Moon. I paraglided off a glacier.
I traveled in a Jeep with my best friend across California, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico...
Visited the World's oldest and largest pyramids in Bosnia!
Golf cart rallied around Utila, a Caribbean scuba diving island
Swam with a hawksbill turtle
Rode the chicken buses of Guatemala
Swam in jungle waterfalls in Mexico
Was painted gold on stage in San Francisco
I performed as the World Famous Dolphina Goldfish Girl in the same spot as Rita Hayworth.
I sailed a yacht to a music festival and then cancan danced for 2Many DJs in front of 20,000 people
Cliff dropped and roof dropped off many very high places strapped to a board!
Sand boarded in Death Valley.
Made humanure and it smelt good!
Felt Heaven and Earth in the Himalayas.
Motorbiked to Mustang in Nepal.
Hitchhiked to Pakistan border through paradise and the moon!
Visited Machu Picchu for just $60
Spotted every type of flamingo in Bolivia.
Worked in 5* chalets in the Alps.
Snorkeled in the 'Poor man's Galapagos' in Ecuador
MorningGloryVille and DayBreaker dancing in Brighton, London and San Francisco
Wine country Argentina - hitch hiking in to movie sets
Campervanned it all over Scotland in Winter.
Raced in the International Panto Horse Race judged by The Cheeky Girls
Taught myself taxidermy and helped sew up a cheetah in a museum
Drove the Transfagarasan Pass in Romania: voted the world's best road
Cheered on the Brits at the World Marble Flicking Competition
Worked as Bruce Parry's garden designer in Ibiza
Lived as a nomad over a decade
