About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live a life less ordinary ;)
ABOUT ME
I was raised by a set of wonderfully adventurous and artistic parents in Cincinnati, Ohio. Though not Mexican, I grew up surrounded by the culture and spent a few weeks each year in different small downs throughout the beautiful country - this has contributed a great deal to my sense of identity and I hope one day (soon!) to live in one of my favourite cities in the world, Oaxaca.
In 2012, I came to Europe for the first time to study Physical Theatre at the Commedia School in Copenhagen. In 2013, I went to Lisbon to practice speaking Portuguese for a few weeks and ended up falling in love with the city and staying for nearly a year. Upon returning to Ohio, I trained under the fabulous Jocelyn Gordon and became a certified instructor of HoopYogini™, a transformational fitness program which integrates modern hula hooping with hatha yoga and mindfulness meditation. A few more years of various studies and travels between the US, Europe, Mexico, Guatemala have passed and I am now back in Cincinnati performing with a queer burlesque troupe!
