Hi! I'm Ruby from Australia 🇦🇺🦘

Currently taking a career break with my backpack and a handful of ever-changing plans! I'm a quasi-geologist/geophysicist (long story) so love outdoor adventures but I also appreciate inside time with a book or a long conversation! But my true home is underwater when I'm scuba diving 🤿

This makes me sound a lot more outgoing and adventurous than I am though - I'm not into big, loud, crazy things! (or clubbing etc...) Basically a massive nerd at heart who just wants to connect and meet like-minded people across the world :)

Currently in Uzbekistan but making my way to central america via italy!

My travels this far have taught me that the best experiences always come from meeting the best people (or maybe eating the best food...). Keen to meet new international friends, live with the locals and exchange travel and life experiences :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life-wise -- withdrawing from my PhD!hahahaa but travel-wise would be a two-day horse trek to spend time with reindeer herders in remote Northern Mongolia 🦌🦌
