I live in a 5 person flat in a housing cooperative with 106 lovely people (+extras +animals) (cooperative living is an alternative way of housing that means that we are our own land lords, make decisions as a group and work together to maintain the building). Its a really wonderful place to live and to stay in, lots of people host couch surfers and subletters in the coop, especially over the summer.

Interests

Art and music are my main things - - - I like playing piano, painting portraits and cloudscapes in oil, going to galleries and walking.. I also really like building things - We have a wood workshop in the basement downstairs+ a community forge just down near the canals. I study art history at Edinburgh University and run life drawing classes a few times a week.

- I can show people painting and drawing techniques, and you could come along to one of the drawing classes I run in Edinburgh if you're staying!
