About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new people and learn more about the world.

ABOUT ME

Im a big foodie and have just started my career in the food industry since finishing university. Food and cultures around food is the reason behind my passion to go traveling and meet new people. I am also pilates, arial yoga, crocheting and salsa dancing. My partner studies ecology so I also enjoy going for walks of going to the zoo with him.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to live life full, meet amazing people and cook lots of good food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did some couch surfing in New Zealand during my travels. I haven't been able to host anyone since then due to studying at university I now live in a small flat and work long hours but would love to be able to host people when the time is right.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really enjoyed couch surfing in New Zealand and had an amazing time. It led me to watch Red Bull racing while eating a posh picnic, eat 'Hells' pizza (amazing), go on some incredible walks. The people i met were all so different, interesting and great fun.

Interests

Like i have said before i am passionate about food and everything food related. Because of this i have had to become interested in running and yoga to make sure that i can still enjoy the food i love.
I try to be arty with photography occasional knitting and other crafty things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Millennium trilogy, Child 44, Carter meets the devil, Bitter almonds, Da Vinci Code and others, Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. Also a hell of a lot cookery books :D

Fat Freddys Drop, The Correspondents, Little Talks, Mumford and Sons, Jason Mraz, Frank Turner, Reel Big Fish and anything that has a good beat.

I like most movies but not a big fan of horrors and chicflics,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel was one of my biggest achievement in my life, the most beautiful thing i think i saw traveling was climbing a volcano in Bali at 4am to see the sun rise. I also was one of the top young chefs in Rotary Young Chef when i was 15, this is what made me believe that i was good enough to use food as a career.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach cooking, dancing (a little bit of belly dancing and salsa) and poi.

I would love to learn how to juggle properly, make new dishes and learn new languages of where i am visiting.

I want to share some great laughs, beautiful traveling destinations and some good food.
