Overview
About Me
I'm an outgoing, adventurous soul, always keen to learn. I love finding the little, hidden details which make a new place memorable, and in a way my own.
I'm very musical and love a good sing song. I play traditional scots fiddle, the guitar and I write songs.
I'm very interest in politics and keeping up to date with world news.
Some of my specific academic interests are latin american literature, metafiction, political protest art, communality and committed literature.
I like playing football, doing yoga and running.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I caught the travelling bug when I went to Honduras to volunteer for 8 months in 2012. Last year I got to live in Mexico City and Lyon, France on student exchange and travel in Guatemala, Nicaragua and Belize.
I think the best way to get to know a new place, especially in a short space of time, is to stay with locals. I'm keen to give something back, be it helping around the house, doing some english conversation for any learners, or playing some music!
