About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hear and make great music!

ABOUT ME

I'm doing a PhD in Amsterdam now, which is very time-consuming and mentally exhausting. So to keep my mind from being caught in the web of science, I play the saxophone in a big band here in Amsterdam. Which is a lot of fun. But more fun is to listen to other jazz, funk and soul music played by 'real' musicians! :D This is the music I like most, but I listen to world, alternative and more. So please bring your favorite, especially if it's from your hometown/country. Furthermore I like sports, watching them on the TV or the stadium (Ajax, the Amsterdam soccer club) and doing it myself. I did karate for many years and do a bit of running and pilates now. I like to do (extreme)outdoor sports on holidays, especially the ones I never did before!
Culture is one of my favorites as well, visiting beautiful cities with great architectural buildings, museums and people of course!
And me: I'm fun, clumsy (but in a cute way..), curious, intelligent, lazy, adventurous, interested in almost anyhing!!

PHILOSOPHY

Sunny days make life more beautiful
