I am a Christian, the eldest of 2 siblings. I have a younger brother who I can count on for any adventure. Yes,I see myself as someone who quite enjoy adventures and adrenaline sport. Although, honestly, I am too stingy to regularly do sport costing money.
I studied veterinary science at the University of Pretoria, Faculty of veterinary science Onderstepoort.
I was born in Pretoria and stayed in a few places throughout the country before settling down in Rustenburg preceding university. My parents are currently staying in Hluhluwe, Kwa-Zulu Natal. But, my heart will probably always stay in Pretoria.

To see the world and, more importantly, my own country. I love learning about new cultures. Their habits and traditions. It's obviously a must, to see tourist attractions, but experiencing the local vibe is much more culturally enriching. I have always wanted to do something like this, but my family was very skeptical. Truthfully so was I. That is why I only recently joined. A friend of mine from Germany showed the site to me and ensured me, he has used it at least 20 times in 4 different countries.

I would like to think I have a broad scope of interests.
For instance my friend and I are currently busy with a reading challenge. A list of 50 types of books, not titles, to be read in a year.
Studying veterinary science I still can't decide what species or at least group of species I'm most interested in. Although this opens allot more doors it can lead to being spread a little too thin. I love animal shows incl. movies and documentaries. Walking dogs and going to shows.
I'm trying to expand my movie and music exposure all the time. I enjoy theater and good food. I'd like to think I'm at least a bit adventurous when it comes to new food.
I love dirt roads and want to invest in a semi-off road bike soon.

I can't say that I've really found my favourites yet.

Like I said I'm still expanding my knowledge. But I do enjoy some home brewed talent. Afrikaans I enjoy Kurt Darren, Adam, Amore Vitone, Romanz, Snotkop etc. Elvis Blue, Chris Chameleon great in both English and Afrikaans. Parlotones awesome. For the rest of the world; Pink, Avril Lavigne, Blink 182 (some), Aqua, Backstreet boys, Andrew Loyd Webber, Megan Trainer, Bach, Beethoven etc.

Movies, can't really say I remember titles. I'd rather say genres. Totally a chick flick, rom-com type of girl. That does however not mean that I do not appreciate Action and adventure. The new Peter Pan movie, "Pan", was nicely done with a own view. I'm not usually a Peter Pan fan, from childhood already. Action comedy like "Knight and day", even better. Who doesn't have those days they just want to watch a simple comedy. I did not like animation as a kid but quite enjoy them now that I can understand more of the adult directed text and hidden humour.

Haven't had much chance and will to give the deserving attention to this part of my life the last few years as I was studying. Studying the whole day doesn't exactly leave me wanting to read more. I do enjoy reading up on diseases, treatments and procedures. But my relaxation reading has taken a knock. Hence the reading challenge taken on this year. I love "White fang", "Living free", "The Hobbit" and " The life of Pi". Afrikaans I remember enjoying "Die Pro" and "Kringe in die bos".

Yes, sorry about that. Simple question, never a simple answer. That must also tel you something about me.
