About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring understanding seeing thinking making grand assumptions, going back to the drawing board and starting again

ABOUT ME

I sneeze very loudly. (Which still hasn't changed)

PHILOSOPHY

blurry late night wisdom "if you stay in one place for too long you will eventually lose yourself"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the whole project, but love the idea of a community of people helping each other out.

Interests

Musical creation of all types. A taste for the Blues. lately a bit of folk. Adore beauty. a weakness for black and white photography. the Road. Yummy food. great dialog in films. Sweaty obscure clubs where everyone is in the groove. Coffee shops. Writing. Conversations that make you forget your surroundings. Creating. i like hats. postcards! taking photographs. the rain. fireplaces. forgetting oneself on a dance floor. Oh and breakfast! how could i forget breakfasts, long laid back breakfasts.

Music, Movies, and Books

I adore films, ah Luc Besson, Guy Ritchie, quentin Tarantino, Michel Gondry, joss whedon. These are some of my favourites.

As far as books go i'm rather thinly read, i enjoyed Ayn Rand and like Neil Gaimen and Laura Esquivel too, but truly (as silly as it sounds) my heart lies with Terry Prachett. Just got into Alain de Button, love his mind.

Music is that makes your heartbeat in any which way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many amazing things of late, some in the small details and some grand. Saw a jazz band in tiny room that took my breath away, went swimming in the sea in Mozambique and had phosphorescence all around me. Moments ago stood on a bridge in Toulouse watching the sunset over the cannel whilst planes left trails through the pink skies.

Countries I’ve Visited

Democratic Republic of Congo, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

South Africa
