My passion for the English language began in elementary school and has since evolved into a lifelong vocation. Since formally beginning my teaching career in 2013, I have been driven by a singular mission: to empower the next generation through language. Currently, I am dedicating my life to serving in a remote school in Desa Toya, East Lombok.

Teaching in a rural area presents unique challenges, but my commitment remains unshaken. I firmly believe that geography should not define a child's destiny. For the students of Desa Toya, mastering English is more than just a school subject; it is a vital key to unlocking a brighter future and accessing global opportunities. My goal is to bridge the gap between this quiet village and the wider world, ensuring that these children possess the confidence and skills to dream big. I am here to prove that from the corners of Lombok, future global leaders can emerge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing "Living and teaching in Desa Toya, East Lombok, a remote village far from the main tourist hubs, I have realized that the world is vast, but opportunities to connect can be limited. I joined Couchsurfing to build a bridge between my quiet village and the global community.

As an English teacher since 2013, I have been passionate about the language since I was a child. However, for me, English is more than a subject; it is a tool for connection. I want to meet travelers not just to practice language, but to exchange stories and perspectives. By meeting people from different backgrounds, I can bring 'the world' back to my students in the village, inspiring them to dream bigger. I am here to share the authentic side of Lombok life and to learn about your corner of the world.
