About Me

I'm an easygoing ex-IT professional. In 2019, I moved away from office life, and I'm now travelling and meeting new people through Workaway. Currently based in the Netherlands.

I'm a music/media geek and musician, travelling with my guitar. I like to spend time with cameras, hiking and/or biking, going to gigs, swimming, playing and recording music, reading, watching movies. Part of the LGBT community.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, movies and books have always been an escape for me - I'm a huge sci-fi fan.

Music - drawn to heavy guitars, but also jazz, 90s acid house, classical, most everything in between.

Movies - sci-fi, weird comedies, slow burners, art house movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ride-share to Louisiana, with a backpack, skateboard, and $40, and spent 10 days meeting great people, hanging out in New Orleans for Mardi Gras.

Quit my job in L.A., bought a van with a friend, lived on the road for months.

My band played at Skywalker Ranch, George Lucas in the audience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Open to sharing and teaching about things I've been doing a long time - IT/computer related things, playing guitar, photography. I love to share and learn about new bands, artists and music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I concentrate on being conscientious about people's homes and vibe - I keep things clean, quiet, minimal impact.

I don't mind social interaction, and love to hang out. But also, I don't need entertaining; I do my own thing more often, sometimes prefer it.

I love to cook, basic but tasty.

Currently travelling with my guitar, so I can play and join in for music.
