Hey, my name is Rufiz, I'm an easy-going, multicultural and multilingual person looking to meet interesting people. I make craft cocktails at my home bar (60+ bottles), listen to alternative music, love discussing history and languages.

Whenever I travel somewhere, I make sure to try local food and all the top places to eat. So I guess you can call me a foodie?

I'm one of those types that get hyper and super energetic for some time, go out, do crazy stuff, walk a lot, swim across the sea, conquer the world, whatever. Then after that I need to crawl back to my cave for a day to recharge, read a book, play a game, watch a movie. After recharging, out we go again!

I like dressing up and used to be a men's fashion influencer. So even if you're female, my wardrobe will probably outmatch yours.

I grind my own coffee beans and can be geeky about that, so be prepared.

I've been too busy with work and delaying actual life. In 2021, I had three amazing trips and realized all of those were my highlights of the year. So I've made a decision to travel more, see more people, experience new things.

Musica, film e libri

I grew up listening to classic rock, when I was 6 years old my favorite bands were Deep Purple and Pink Floyd (thanks, dad). My music taste gradually evolved towards more rebellious genres, mostly punk rock and everything that came out of it, from post-punk to thrash metal.

One random skill I have is being able to tell the exact subgenre of the song by listening to it. It may not sound too impressive, but good luck hearing distinguishing between crust punk and d-beat, or first wave black metal from second wave norwegian black metal.

I watched the LOTR trilogy more than 50 times when I was a kid and have been rewatching occassionally ever since. My other favorite trilogy is The Godfather. I also love Sopranos. So you can say I have a strange mixture of fantasy and mafia movies going on.

My favourite book is Shogun by James Clavell, it's epic, historic, full of plot twists and it's about late-medieval Japan. How could I not like it? I also love Siddhartha from Hermann Hesse.

1. Moved to a completely new country (Slovakia) on my own when I was still a 17-year old kid, built a network and bought a house.

2. Saved a giant cat from by adopting it from the previous owner who had cat allergies and wanted to get rid of him

3. Learned two languages completely from scratch and been using them ever since
