ABOUT ME

Well, my life is all about stories. When I was a kid it started off with stories in books. Then I joined the Navy to have a few stories of my own and I have not been disappointed. I'm easy-going and simply enjoy the company of new and interesting people.

PHILOSOPHY

I sincerely believe that if you live your life decently, treat all others with respect and take the chances and opportunities that present themselves, what comes after this life will take care of itself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couch surfed before by this website, but I can tell you that nothing is better than meeting up with a local and having them share their city with you. You experience things you will never get from a guidebook.

Interests

Pretty much everything a normal person my age would be interested in. To be ridiculously general, meeting new people and seeing new things are at the top of the list.

Music, Movies, and Books

You know those people who say they listen to anything? That's me. A sample playlist on my iPod will have anything from Tupac to Lynyrd Skynyrd to Regina Spektor to System of a Down. Whatever makes me feel something when I hear it is okay in my book.

I mostly like Sci-Fi books because they talk about our potential as human beings.

I'll watch any movie with Daniel Day-Lewis, Peter Saarsgard and Laura Linney. Those are pretty much the only hard and fast rules. I'll give almost anything a try.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I skydived over the Alps in Switzerland.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a few simple things that will make your video camera do what you want it to do. The difference between crappy video and a video you'll want to keep for life just takes a little knowledge.
