About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I love socialising with heaps of new people. I love to experience what the locals get up to as I am a terrible tourist!

ABOUT ME

I am a Canadian that is living and working in Seoul Korea. I teach ESL at the university level. I have 5 months leave per year so I travel heaps! Until this year, I had never done couch surfing but I figured I would give it a go while travelling alone on Venezuela. It was a great experience and added heaps to my adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's too short to waste lying around..get busy livin!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love travellers and have travelled heaps myself. I want to give back what I have been given over the last 10 years of travels around the globe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Little surfing experience so far but I like what I have seen to date!

I normally travel and involve sport as in a join a team when I get somewhere and make friends that way. That is not always possible where I go so I figured this might be just as rewarding and it was.

Interests

Brazillian Jiujitsu, Rugby, Muay Thai boxing, running, relaxing on a beach and dancing the night away!

Music, Movies, and Books

You do not often find me buried in a book or propped in front of a TV or movie. I kinda prefer to live my own life and not someone else's...if ya know what I mean. I guess I think, if you keep your head down too often, you miss what is going on right in front of you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many to tell...life is grand! From saving whales in New Zealand to hiking to the top of the Namibian sand dunes only to learn just how noisy absolute silence really is.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am open minded to people willing to share their experiences. You want to talk, I want to listen. :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Botswana, Cambodia, Cayman Islands, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Guam, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lesotho, Luxembourg, Mozambique, Namibia, Netherlands, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Swaziland, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, United Kingdom, United States, Venezuela
