About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Slowly but surely rising above mediocrity

ABOUT ME

I'm always up for trying something new, twice; too many expectations on the first go-around for a genuine experience.

I'm very talented when it comes to reciting long rambling stories that either lead to nowhere, or are interesting enough that they made up for the last two boring stories you heard from me. I also have a strong enough dedication to bad jokes as to run them into the ground so hard that they crater up and become funny.

PHILOSOPHY

A closed mind has no room to grow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Tons of hosting in Oklahoma City, as seen in the reviews, but almost no surfing myself. I haven't hosted since I moved to Denver in summer 2013, but will open my place up again.

Interests

Rugby, going on/creating adventures, weird kitsch, good whiskey, strong coffee, and dark beer not necessarily in that order

  • beer
  • coffee
  • running
  • walking
  • surfing
  • rugby
  • track and field

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Wizard People Dear Reader, Troll 2, Zandalee, The Room, Wicker Man, and all other types of awful movies. I'm open to pretty much anything

Bands: The Dismemberment Plan, The Pixies, The Blow, Metric, The Rentals, Weezer, Foo Fighters, Ben Folds, Rilo Kiley, MGMT, The Beatles, Wesley Willis(who peed on the couch of a friend of my sister's at Eastern Illinois University!),Supertramp, Journey, Jesse and the Rippers, The Zack Attack. I could go on and on.

Books: Anything by Charles Bukowski, Hunter S. Thompson, Chuck Palahniuk, Chuck Klosterman, Jeremy Clarkson, or Henry Petroski

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking the Monaco Grand Prix track in between practice sessions and seeing Hadrian's Wall a few days apart from each other and getting to experience two amazing things from vastly different eras.
