Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be in the moment in the world wherever I am and enjoy it as much as I can. And eventually to travel as far and wide as my heart, mind and body allows.
ABOUT ME
I love to travel and meet new people. I also like the unknown aspects that come with the journey; those wonderful, moments during a trip when the , hilarious and usually wacky things happen that stick most vividly in the memory later.
PHILOSOPHY
Life...Find the humor in it or you will go crazy.
Every place teaches me something new about myself and thus makes me stronger and braver.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCH-SURFING
I host and occasionally cook for guests. I can be a tour guide, and I can certainly tell you what NOT to do... And I am always good for a few laughs. Also, if you miss your pet, I have 2 surrogates you are welcome to.
COUCH-SURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted humans from all over the world and some have stayed way longer than one little couch should probably take! But all has ended well .
Hosting and surfing weaves more threads into the fabric of our common humanity.
Interests
I like to be around people with a sense of humor whenever possible. Intelligent conversation with a humorous undercurrent can be one of the highest forms of entertainment in itself. When near civilization, I like to go to museums, concerts, dancing or to hear live music etc. Otherwise, I love to be out in nature and would love to couch-surf near a beach!!!! If I could start over I would and may go back to school and study insects. They are so cool! I wish I could say I am a great photographer but I am not,( even though it is an interest of mine). I like to experiment with multi-media art.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movie: The Professional. Others I cannot think of at the moment. Oh the Mission.
Music: Alabina, Foreigner, Blondie, Stevie Wonder, Old, old country from the U.S. and a wide variety of music from around the world. Youssou N'Dour is brilliant of course. Anything Brazilian makes me think of my childhood, so I love it. Brahms.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived 9 days untreated with High Altitude Pulminary Edema in Tibet. If you can call surviving something you "do". Being sick is a great way to slow down and appreciate the people and scenery of place though. I think I love the people and beauty of Tibet all the more for it. Most poignant 15 days... Looking forward to returning, but for a much longer time.
