COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some brilliant and inspirational people on C.S!!!! So far I've slept on more beds than couches, and have been spoiled rotten by my hosts.

My favorite part about couchsurfing is that it allows wisdom-seekers to travel as guests, and not as mere tourists--and we all know what we feel about mere tourists.

Interessi

I have a fascination for the natural world; I'm interested in what science and religion both can tell us about the inner one.

Playing music on the flute and piano, although I have been handicapped by too much classical training.

I love literature, being outdoors, taking long walks with no destination in mind, horsebackriding, jogging, interesting conversations over tea/coffee.

Musica, film e libri

Music: Anything goes really. Especially cheesy soundtracks from really old movies...

Books: Many. The western canon to contemporary fiction to naturalistic essays.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I went to Haiti for two months as a medical volunteer. I saw some incredibly beautiful things, and also some incredibly sad things. It was an experience I will not soon forget.

Learning: I like wheedling the darkest secrets out of people's souls :~).

Teaching: And then I like to give lots of impassioned (and absolutely sound) advice.

Sharing: In exchange, I'll tell you about the time I locked my grandmother in a bathroom for a day.
