I don't really know how to define myself. Maybe my personality is somewhere between introvert and extrovert. I have no idea. Once you get to know me, you'd find I'm a funny person. I always make people laugh. I might look like Otaku, but the inner me yearns for the outside world. Couch surfing is a new area for me, but I'm looking forward to this new adventure. I came to Australia alone to do working holiday and hopefully I can get the best out of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know couch surfing many many years ago but never really tried it before. You know, Australia is the only country I've visited. I never left China before. But I wish I could visit more countries. I hope I can have pleasant couch surfing experience during my stay in Australia. And couch surfing is one of the best ways to know the locals' life and culture. I'd love to know more about different cultures and meet people from different backgrounds.

Interests

There are tons of things I enjoy doing.
Reading is my favorite pastime. I usually spend several hours at a book shop and forget the time. I especially enjoy looking for some good stuff at a second-hand book store.
I love nature! Cities are fine, but I love rural life more. I enjoy wandering in the forest or along a river.
I love animals, plants.
My favorite sports are biking, mountain-climbing and playing badminton, but I wish I could master some other skills like swimming.
I like old styled buildings.
I like exotic small shops that selling things I never saw.
I love photographing. I always enjoy capturing unexpected moments and views with my phone.
I enjoy going to Ikea even I don't buy anything. I like researching their design. Some of them really blow my mind.
I like going to different styled cafe, restaurant and bakery. I love cooking. Cooking is like creating something new with different ingredients. I always enjoy the process. I never get bored of making food. I enjoy creating something new with the same ingredients. I cooked for my family and friends and I'm not a bad cook. I always dream of becoming a chef or a master baker someday and having my own shop, hahaha. I also like food channels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music genres like punk, pop, and country music is always my favorite. I love music that telling stories.
I love indie movies. I've watched many good movies from all over the world. Sorry, I'm bad with names. I especially love those movies which were adapted from famous books or based on a true story.
I read a lot of Chinese poem, philosophy, novels and many translated books from other countries since I was a child. I started reading English books since college. I like Under the Dome by SK, One Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, Catcher In The Rye by J.D. Salinger and Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. And currently I'm reading The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards. I'm trying to read more good books from all over the world.
