ABOUT ME

I'm Rui, a 23 years old, electronic engineering student.
I was born in Viseu, Portugal and since 2008 I moved to Tomar to take my bachelor's degree.

I would define myself as a regular person, who loves to live.
I love to be among friends, love to meet new people, new cultures and have new experiences.
I like to go out, have a couple of beers, listen to a nice rock concert...

I'm also a musician, I play the drums, (I can also play a few songs on the piano and guitar), and I have a Southern Rock/Stoner Rock band called Bulldozer since 2005.

I guess I'm very receptive to new and different ideas, I don't like to judge other people about their belief, social status or orientation, I think everyone's free to do whatever they want, how, when and where they want.

I usually don't travel a lot, because I haven't much free time, but when I do, I try to bring something new to my life, I love to talk to locals when travelling, get to know how their lifes are, and in wich aspects are simillar to mine. I like nice conversations, I rather be in silence than do small-talk.

About sports, I play rugby in the school team, rock climb with friends on the weekend... Sometimes I take a few hours for photography, specially nature photos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an InterRail last summer and it was like WOOOOOWWWW!

One time, during my childhood, a randomly old-woman gave me 10€, when some friends started to sing at me 'Happy Birthday' inside the bus. :)

I can teach to play the drums! -|m|

I would love to learn how to draw properly, because what my hand does with the pencil it's nothing to do with what I'm "seeing".
