About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make new friends! A friend... A treasure for life!

ABOUT ME

I'm quite the busy man with many obligations and responsibility but every time I have the chance I try to escape from the routine and do something exciting and new. I live in Lourinhã, a quite little town between Torres Vedras and Peniche. I just love this little part of Portugal and having the chance to live near the sea with some unique landscape in a (yet) traditional rural area. I love to go out in search of wonderful Portuguese cuisine, some good old red wine and cheese, a meal by the sea or a simple coffee with a nice Oporto wine with friends. I have a positive side towards life and friendship and over the years I've managed to get the best out of it with my friends. One is good but the more the merrier.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I intend to host and meet other CS travelers and hope to have the opportunity to surf as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It all started when i found someone who was lost and looking for a CS host but he was far from his destiny. I decided to help him and during the car trip we talked a lot about the concept behind CS. I instantly decided to join this big community and hope my couch can help other people to know not only the places but also our culture and share experiences. So far I've hosted more than surfed, but made a lot of new friends and who knows, you might be my next new friend. :)

Interests

Its the small and simple things that matters the most. :) A road trip with friends, a nice meal with some good wine and cheese, a interest conversation, two people sharing a moment, a sunset...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first visit to a cave in Salir Do Porto with caving friends. Beating the initial fear, enjoying the moment, staring at the magnitude of it, fascinated with the cave's beauty.

Teach, Learn, Share

I do not dare to teach you Portuguese as I think it's probably one of the most dificult languages to learn. I'll do my best to show with you some of the most beautiful yet simple things, this country has and appreciate the joy when we share something precious to us.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Netherlands, Spain, Tunisia, United States
