About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Growing some roots and building some walls.
Climb a tree in every city I visit!

ABOUT ME

I am a Chinese born British, educated in Denmark as an Architect and currently working in Germany.

To me, travelling can be as far as an unknown village in the suburbs of Japan, or as close as my back garden. I believe that freedom and discovery comes from within oneself. And I live to experience as much as I can in the right moment.

I love photography, art, painting, piano, collecting pebbles, swimming, walking, climbing trees, always enjoy good film, good wine, good music, good talks…. and dancing!!!
And I simply cannot resist foxes :)

Spontaneous, free, sensitive, and sometimes a little bit extreme... I look forward to meeting new places, people, and stories!

PHILOSOPHY

Live for the moment, and always be honest with yourself.

… life is too short for bad wine :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sharing and learning from people all over the world. I just recently moved to my own cozy apartment in one of the most beautiful areas of the city. With vineyards directly outside my door and a walk into the fields feels literally like my own back garden ☺ So if you like peace, quiet, nature (and of course, wine!) then I would love to share some of this with you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first ever couch surfing experience gave me a friend for life. And many more afterwards.
…...
Unfortunately I do not have as much CS experience as I wish to because of work and housing restrictions, but definitely have met amazing people and heard amazing stories during my few experiences and I hope to start sharing more!

////////////////////IMPORTANT/////////////////////

No matter how much connection or good time you may end up having with your host/guest, couchsurfing is NOT a dating website, and the wishes or privacy of the host/guest should be respected at ALL TIMES.

I ask everyone to please, please, please respect this.

And I would appreciate it if you read my profile (please write a sentence about FOXES in your request if you want a reply) and understand the philosophy of CS, the site has changed a lot since the past months and I am a little disappointed. But still I want to have faith and believe in the good old CS community.

Interests

I'm a trained architect, passionate photographer, not-so-bad pianist, good baker (I heard!)... but my true love is art. Drawing and illustrating is the best way to express all kinds of emotions, dreams, and stories. It is also the drive of my travels, to find inspiration from the people and places. I hope to have my own personal brand one day and draw some children's books. If you are interested, you can see some of my works here :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A most amazing and inspirational trip ever to Japan 2 years ago. It lead to many powerful experiences and deep encounters with people.

I did a lot of crazy thing back then: sleeping alone on a bench outside the train station; crying for hours in an art exhibition of Yayoi Kusama; taking a random train into an unknown village in the middle of the night, finally to be sheltered by an 83 year old grandma in her traditional house; meeting a man who soon gave me almost 2 years of true love and joy; and hearing a voice which I will never, ever, forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

Culture, languages, art and design, music, life, surviving, climbing and falling off trees... anything!

What I Can Share with Hosts

But otherwise when there is time, I can try to cook/bake. And also draw something for you :)
