About Me
Hello! My name is Alex, I am 31 years old, and I am from Palma de Mallorca, where I currently reside.
Until a few months ago, my life was full of movement. From the age of 18 until the end of 2024, I combined a life of traveling and living in different places around the world with periods in Mallorca, where I would return between trips.
Without a doubt, this has been a very beautiful and enriching stage of my life. This experience has allowed me to discover different cultures, lifestyles, and ways of living, which has been incredibly rewarding. What I take away the most from all of this is that, even when language is a barrier and we can't even communicate through gestures, if there is good intention behind it, we always find a way to understand each other.
Living this way has been wonderful. I have met and made friends in many parts of the world. I have lived in Ireland, London, Granada, Mexico, and Australia. Additionally, I have traveled through Southeast Asia (part of this trip was by bicycle, which I remember with special fondness), as well as Mexico, Morocco, and many other shorter trips.
Currently, I am living in Palma de Mallorca, and I find myself in a phase of creation. I feel that this entire stage of my life has been amazing, but now I feel the need to pause and start a new chapter from my home. I consider myself lucky that my home is Palma de Mallorca, a true paradise.
They say that when the external journey ends, the internal one begins. Maybe I am experiencing something similar.
In this process of creating a new phase, I am dedicating a lot of time to what I consider my main lifestyle: sports and holistic practices. Moreover, I am sharing them with others. I am in the process of transmitting everything I have learned during my travels and courses on different holistic practices. Among them, the one that I am most passionate about is sound therapy, especially with Tibetan singing bowls.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently, I am on Couchsurfing because, as I mentioned, I live in Palma de Mallorca, but I am at a stage in my life where I want to continue learning and taking various training courses. Many of these courses take place in Barcelona and are mostly on weekends.
The reason I am on Couchsurfing is to see if I can find accommodation when I travel to attend these trainings.
As a token of appreciation for the hospitality, I would be delighted to offer a Tibetan singing bowl session as a thank-you for hosting me.
When I used to travel, I would often bring a Spanish omelet with me, haha. That could also be an option! 😄
Interests
Some more things about my interests:
I love spending time in nature—it’s one of my top priorities at this stage of my life. I enjoy any outdoor activity, whether it’s walking, mountain biking, or simply sitting and taking in the surroundings. I try to connect with nature every day.
Sports are also a big passion of mine, in all their forms. I have practiced different disciplines throughout my life. Until I was 18, I played basketball, as I come from a family where both of my parents are still basketball coaches. Later, I got into mountain biking, surfing, climbing, trekking, and swimming. Currently, the activities I practice the most are mountain biking and hiking.
I am fascinated by everything related to holistic well-being: meditation, yoga, and especially the world of frequencies—whether through instruments, sound therapy, or tuning forks.
I also really enjoy sharing with others. I love collective happiness, moments of connection, and deep conversations, whether in a group or one-on-one.
And well… *live and let live* could be one of my mottos. Haha! 😄

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like all genres. Since I was a child, I’ve listened to hip-hop, and I feel it’s a culture that I carry deeply within me. In fact, I enjoy writing and sharing some songs. However, nowadays, I enjoy all kinds of music, especially the kind that makes you want to dance freely.
Movies: I find it hard to sit down and watch a movie, but if I had to choose, I’d go for those based on true stories, comedies, or films with motivational stories.
Books: I mainly read about holistic practices, knowledge, habits, and vibration.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Something incredible that I have done, and that comes to mind, was skydiving in Australia. It was truly an amazing experience. The feeling, the excitement, and surely all the hormones the body releases at that moment put you in a state of pure euphoria. It’s wonderful to experience life from that emotion.
I also have very fond memories of my bicycle trip through Asia. I cycled across Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. It was a time in my life when all I wanted was to travel and explore, and the more local the experience, the better. So, I bought a second-hand bike in Bangkok, got a tent and a few essential items, and set off on the adventure. It was, and still is, one of the most special and enriching experiences of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share sound healing sessions. I am open to traveling with my set of Tibetan singing bowls to offer this experience to anyone willing to host me. It is a powerful session where the harmonic vibration of the bowls helps to balance our energy and body, allowing us to feel better, more connected with ourselves, and in harmony.
It’s like tuning an instrument—throughout daily life (car noises, stress, etc.), our body and mind can become "out of tune." A Tibetan bowl session acts as a realignment tool, restoring balance and harmony to our being.
It is a highly recommended experience.
I can also share other practices such as numerology, Reiki, or engaging conversations about spirituality and personal growth.
Additionally, I am passionate about music and love dedicating time to sports.
What I Can Share with Hosts
And as for what I can offer to my hosts, it’s pretty much what I mentioned earlier. The most valuable thing I believe I can share is Tibetan singing bowl sessions, but I can also offer Reiki and/or numerology sessions.
I can also contribute my energy and time to share experiences based on the host’s personal interests. I am a curious person, and I enjoy trying new things.
And of course, I’m always up for a good conversation on any topic, a walk, or an outdoor activity.
