About Me
Hi, I'm Farooq.
I'm learning Japanese and would like to meet native Japanese speakers so I can improve my Japanese. I can also help you with your English if you like. I taught English in Japan for nearly three years, but I came back in 2006 and I have recently started trying to re-learn Japanese.
I'm originally from Wirral (near Liverpool) but I've been living in London since 2011. I can meet up for a chat, coffee, beer, sightseeing, karaoke, food, walks. If you're a musician we can have a jam session - I play the guitar and can sing a little.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Language exchange, meeting people
Interests
Music - electronic / metal / noise
I play the guitar and write electronic music.
I can also play the didgeridoo.

Boardgames/card games - Lord of the Rings LCG, Arkham Horror LCG, Munchkin, Pandemic, Hearthstone, Robinson Crusoe, Netrunner etc
Tabletop RPGs

I tend to read non-fiction books about evolutionary psychology or the universe, and if I read fiction they tend to be old classics. I'd really like to read something modern, gripping and easy to read. Any recommendations??
