About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Right now I am in Portugal, I moved here to be next to the Atlantic Ocean, to surf and have peaceful life outside of city.
My mission is to live in peace next to the ocean, doing my art and share Ukulele knowledge to the people.

ABOUT ME

I am an Opera and theatre scenographer, illustrator and Ukulele player from Belgrade. I am also an accomplished prop designer and maker. Right now I am doing Anatomy illustrations.

I am "Always look on the bright side" and optimistic kind of person :)
I like to surf, play Ukulele and dance Lindy Hop. I found myself in those two things and that makes me happy.

PHILOSOPHY

“I'm no longer a child and I still want to be, to live with the pirates. Because I want to live forever in wonder. The difference between me as a child and me as an adult is this and only this: when I was a child, I longed to travel into, to live in wonder. Now, I know, as much as I can know anything, that to travel into wonder is to be wonder. So it matters little whether I travel by plane, by rowboat, or by book. Or, by dream. I do not see, for there is no I to see. That is what the pirates know. There is only seeing and, in order to go to see, one must be a pirate.”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet interesting people. I think that the most fulfilling thing to do is to share something with the other people.

Interests

I am interested in Theater, Film, Opera, Scenic design and Props making, mainly art. You can find some of my works on the Internet :) I like to play the ukulele, and paint in nature. Listening to classical music and rock n roll... I am really open-minded when it comes to music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like rockabilly and Rock n Roll music, but as I said before I am open to all kinds of music. Also, I listen to a lot of Hawaiian music.

I like all kinds of books, but some of my favourite writers hm... Alexandre Dumas, Jack Kerouac, Jack London, Haruki Murakami, J. D. Salinger, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Neil Gaiman and many many others.

Don't even get me started on movies, I've seen so many of them... Maybe " Big Fish " is my favourite movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a lot of awesome things around Europe, Asia and US, but I always like to point out to people that the most valuable thing is meeting different people :)
If I must choose, I was on top of Diamond Hill in Hawaii and met all my favorite ukulele musicians.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to draw and paint. We can go outside in plain air and paint like impressionist painters, of course, if the weather is good :D :)

Also, I can show you and teach you how to play board games :) As I have mentioned earlier, I am a Board game expert (geek haha) :)

Maybe we can jam on guitar or Ukulele :) I'd be grateful if you can teach me some music too, that'd be amazing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you a Ukulele song, or we can play board games, or go to a Jazz gig and I can teach you some Lindy Hop moves :D
