I am coming to France to share an art project with Jean Vanier, founder of L'Arche.

ABOUT ME

I am quietly adventurous. Children like me, and I like them. I love to laugh, and to discuss poetry, politics, the environment, food, art, and spirituality. I dislike labels and generalities like "liberal," or "conservative." Even though it's tempting to stereotype, I try not to, and welcome people of all kinds into my life. Labels are good for wine but not people.
I savour simple pleasures... Biking, walking, gardening, cooking, painting, and sipping tea with friends are some of my favorite things. I treasure my friendships, and seem to attract a wide spectrum of incredible people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by sharing my art with other surfers, and exchanging stories. I am happy to help cook!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I made sushi with fellow surfer and host in Madrid. Camped with 6 surfers at Marcos' home with his attack cat outside Barcelona. Had a real Italian breakfast, and buffalo mozzarella with my host, Andre.

Interests

I am really interested in mysticism and creativity of every kind. I am trying to live my life in service to others, and to take healthy risks instead of living a secure and predictable life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The sun was setting and the sky was pink and purple, and I felt an intuition to go on board the deck of the ferry. All of a sudden, a pod of orca whales began leaping and splashing a little way from the ship. I experienced the sheer joy and wonderment watching these giants at play...It felt totally timeless. I will never forget it.

Teach, Learn, Share
