About Me

CURRENT MISSION

simplify my life

ABOUT ME

I love traveling. I grew up the youngest of seven kids, so my family never had a whole lot of money and therefore we didn't travel much. Because of that, I never imagined myself going far off places. A study abroad while in college changed all that for me. I spent six weeks in London, and a weekend in Ireland. I realized that not only is traveling a passion of mine, but that it is attainable and with things like couchsurfing, it is affordable. I prefer staying with locals because I get to know the culture and have unique experiences. I feel more like a traveler and less like a tourist. I really get to know what it's like to live in that place.

PHILOSOPHY

Be genuine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My wife and I are beginning to host. Unfortunately though we both are very busy with work and so hosting may not be a possibility but please ask! We would love to host if we are able to!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed five official times now (and a couple impromptu times). Everyone was extremely hospitable and in our limited time together helped me get a better feel for where I was staying. I hope to make more friends throughout the world this way.
