About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I would like to visit more places over the next year/ Barbados is always a must for me, but I would like to expand my horizons so long as my pocket will let me.

ABOUT ME

I was born in California, moved to Spain for a few years (military brat), then off to Washington DC. I couldn't take the cold anymore, so I moved to Florida. I'm much happier here since I have warm weather most of the time. As I said before, I dj on the side (I'll post a live link as soon as it's up). I enjoy museums, though I don't get to go as often as I'd like. I love to party (but I'm not a loud person...just love to enjoy the music and dance).

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that while I should have more ambition to start a career and not just have a job, I like that I am enjoying life. Besides, isn't settling down for couples with children?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I'm new to this whole thing, but I've stayed in guesthouses before and met some really cool people.

Interests

I love music more than anything. My preferences are calypso, soca & reggae. I also enjoy oldies, r & b, and now and then I get in the mood to hear some classical (but that's usually when I'm alone so my friends won't think I'm mad). I love to travel to warm places (Barbados is my heart, but so long as I don't need anything more than a light jacket, I think I'll be ok).

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy suspense & thriller movies as well as the same in books (Patricia Cornwell, Michael Crichton, and my friend finally convinced me to check Anne Rice).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm...I can hold a drink and tread water at the same time. I'm not super adventurous, but I do travel alone a lot. I've done Trinidad Carnival several times, and consider myself to be rather fearless when it comes to being independent. I'm scared of getting a real job though:)

Countries I’ve Visited

Barbados, Saint Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago

Countries I’ve Lived In

Spain, United States
