About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Welcoming travelers and participating in community outreach wherever I am

ABOUT ME

I like to wander, learn, volunteer, and create. I make art often, cook, write, read, listen to live music, listen to silence, hike and I bike everywhere. I am a transplant from Brooklyn NY. I have also lived in Santa Cruz, California.

Change is the only
constant we know
it exposes our truths
and forces our growth

Where Everything Is Music

Don't worry about saving these songs!
And if one of our instruments breaks,
it doesn't matter.
We have fallen into the place
where everything is music.
The strumming and the flute notes
rise into the atmosphere,
and even if the whole world's harp
should burn up, there will still be
hidden instruments playing.

Stop the words now.
Open the window in the center of your chest,
and let the spirits fly in and out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen Monet's garden in full bloom, I got to hear the Kronos Quartet perform the score from Reqiuem For A Dream live in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY, I've seen indescribably beautiful vistas backpacking the Sierra Nevadas, I've seen Alex Grey do a live painting at his former studio in Manhattan. While I am grateful for these gorgeous moments, I have much more exploring to do around the globe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a sponge. I love to learn about anything a person is passionate about.

I also enjoy baking, fixing things, carpentry, editing papers, weeding and drawing so if those skills are needed I'm happy to contribute.
