Hi! I am 21 years old from Bergen in Norway.
I am an outgoing, social and curious person.
The past two years I have been living in the Pasvik valley located in north-east of Norway where I have been going to folk high school.These two years have given me many great experiences shared with a lot of nice people. The main focus of the school is outdoors activities such as skiing, fishing, hiking and dog mushing. We have also learned a lot about the special history of this area and about sami traditions and handycraft.
Now I have moved back to Bergen and I am going to start study at the university there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing seems like a really cool way to meet new people and great form of cultural exchange and understanding.

Interests

I love to be outdoors going for a hike or skiing either it is on a day trip or longer trips for several days sleeping outside. I also really enjoy swimming in rivers, lakes or the ocean all year long.
Meeting new people and learning about new cultures and languages is also something I love. In high school I went on an one year exchange to Argentina where I lived with an argentinian family and attended a local school. During this year I learned a lot both about myself and my own culture, and about argentinians, their culture and history.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to all sorts of music. It can be Norwegian indie, Argentinian rock, reggeaton, folkmusic, pop etc.

One of my favourites authors is Erlend Loe he often writes about quite normal people and their very unormal lives. He writes in a very funny way and also manages to talk about serious topics and/or issues in our society.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to knit, or maybe a bit norwegian.
I would love to learn about local history, food traditions and maybe learn some words and phrases from your language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to join in on the food making. Or if you like to play card or board games I am really into that and would be more than happy to play!
I am quite flexible so joining in on your plans or
doing things by myself are both fine!
