If you're going to request a stay with us, I ask that you please take the time to read my profile. We are also more willing to accept surfers with at least 1 positive reference and definitely a full profile that you have spent some time/effort in developing.

Reasons to NOT request to stay with us:
1. You have an empty profile/you did not mention anything specific about me from my profile
2. You aren't looking to converse, you're not open-minded to other peoples lifestyles, you don't like animals (cats and dogs) -- we are open to people crashing just to crash, but with a legitimate reason and some time spent developing their/your message when requesting us

I love to make/create things and to work with my hands. I like being active and doing things - I cannot stand being stagnant. I like to continually grow & learn. I'm married to an amazing man who cherishes the same things I do. (He is active and outdoorsy. He has a love for soccer and basketball and we both promote positivity.)

I'm independent, have high goals for myself and keep pretty busy but I still find time to relax by doing some yoga, reading a good book/watching a movie or kicking it with friends.

I love trail running
I like pretty much everything: yoga, nature (anything outdoors - hiking, biking, rock climbing, the river, running, snowboarding, looking forward to cross country skiing and snow shoeing etc), good craft beer/wine, art, music/concerts and of course...good conversations

I promote peace, not war :)

We have 2 wonderful dogs who we are still working on trying to calm them and train them so please be patient with them and us. Liking dogs is a must.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My husband and I couch surf because it is an amazing opportunity to connect with people from around the world, share experiences, and travel. Couch surfing has introduced us to people who have touched our hearts and souls; people who we hope to call lifelong friends.

My only regret with couch surfing is that I didn't start it sooner! We host as many as we can, as frequently as we can and I cannot wait to revisit those I have hosted as I begin my own travels next summer. Couch surfing is truly an amazing community of individuals who open their hearts, minds and homes to others. I cannot wait for the numerous friendships we have yet to create!

Interests

I love to run!! Trail running, road running..all running. Craft beer and running is a good combo...

I like to be active in general..I like to do yoga, bike, hike, work out, drink wine, gardening, hanging out with my little family, dentistry, snowboarding/skiing, wake boarding, traveling, wander through museums, chat at coffee shops, look at art work/photographs, float the river, and probably more I am forgetting!
