ABOUT ME

I love to meet new people and discover new places, so Couchsurfing really ticks both boxes! I love adventure and the outdoors, anywhere with mountains or a little adrenalin involved or anything that is active like dancing. Equally, I love hanging out in a coffee shop or having dinner with a few folk.
Mostly I like to have a good chat but can be reflective and quiet too. I treasure my friends and value relationships.
I have been enjoying traveling round the world taking my bicycle with me, either riding it or hauling it on and off trains.
So far: England to Hong Kong via Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Mongolia, China (via Trans-Mongolian Train), Hong Kong, New Zealand and back to England. A four week interlude in the midwest USA.
I've just spend most of the last two years in Canada and New Zealand snowboarding and mountain biking. I rode up most of New Zealand.

PHILOSOPHY

To have fun and look for how I can help the world be a better place. To make the most of everything, to not rush so much that I don´t have time to appreciate the amazing people, things around me and experiences I have. Think bigger and enjoy life fully!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently mostly surfing and occasionally event organising.
When I'm home I do hosting and lending a hand bicycle fixing/being a tour guide and organising events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very good experiences in Switzerland, Romania, Hungary and in Christchurch, New Zealand, USA and Canada. I am enjoying getting to know a country through the people I am surfing with. Enjoyed meeting locals and ex-pats and got stuck into CS community in Christchurch and a bit in London. CS groups are great to meet new people in a city.
My experience with CS just gets better and better. I have truly made wonderful friends all over the world because of this site.

Cycled up lots of mountains after I was told I would not be able to do it again (I had ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome)
