ABOUT ME

Well... hmm. I suppose I'm kind of an artsy person. Creative, left-brained, a little scatterbrained, a little bit of a mess, but I do alright for myself. I work at a library, I go to school. Am kind of in my own little world most of the time, but I'm really fascinated with other people and getting to know and understand them so I like to meet all kinds of folks and talk about all kinds of different things. I want to travel as much as possible, but haven't really had the opportunity yet. I'm a sucker for good conversation and good wine and a good laugh. I'm terribly amused with small animals and am known to squeal at the sight of puppies. I don't like children, but I do like old people a lot. I'm a poet and pretty committed to it as an artform, I guess, and I read a lot. In general, I tend to think that life is too important to be taken seriously - if I may steal from Mr. Wilde - though I don't always live up to my own ideals.

Interests

All kinds of things, but I have a short attention span. I'm really into poetry, and fiction as well. Am really curious about things and take interest in pretty much anything that would show up in an issue of National Geographic. I'm learning how to cook and becoming a total foodie. I'm into history, art(all kinds), mythology, linguistics, folklore, the occult, religion spirituality and philosophy, pretty much anything that would fall under "Humanities"...
