About Me

Just got back from serving with the Peace Corps in Benin, and moving to Colorado for grad school. Growing up in California, I used to write little poems and sell them to people on the street for gas money just to get from town to town on the coast during the summer. I play guitar and ukulele, love snowboarding, and make mean French toast.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to explore more, see more, learn more languages, and nerd out on how freaking cool human beings are.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a massive nerd when it comes to neuroscience and especially psycholinguistics. I speak three languages now (French fluently and spanish near fluently) and I'm working on a guide to Nateni (my village's language) in English. I used to tutor in Chemistry and English. I can help in these areas, but I'm more interested in learning from others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook a mean breakfast, and a stir fry that'll convert you to the dark side of the Force. Will play you any song you like on a uke/guitar. Not above serenading you or others you'd like serenaded. Poems on command for any occasion, too!
