About Me
Hi ! My name is Matthieu. I'm French and have been living in Paris for the past 8 years, mostly studying and currently pursuing a doctoral thesis in International Law at the Sorbonne University. Nonetheless I've been able to travel a lot (South America, South-East Asia, India-Nepal, Africa...) and have always enjoying meeting new people. Also, I love cinema and literature !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm really looking forward to meet new people as I've always done during my trips. I'm planning a trip in Japan over the summer and looking for nice people to kindly receive me. I'm of course open to any help I could provide during my stay (cooking, helping with shopping, housework assistance etc.). For now, I'm living in apartment-sharing so unfortunately I can't accept any person but I will be happy to in the near future when I'll have my own place.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I would like to enter the local culture in the best way, learning about its different aspects as history, religion, food, rituals, ways of thinking etc. I guess that is what couchsurfing is for.
